The storm that rumbled through the area early Sunday evening, around 7 p.m., toppled an oak tree at the summer home of Bob Smith and Joan Szynal, 11493 N. Ogden Point Road, Lake Wawasee.

The couple was not at the home at the time. The large oak tree caused damage to the front of the home and second story, including sending a limb through an upper floor window.

No other damage was reported in that area. No damage amount was reported.
