This is a shot from the southeast side of Main Street looking northwest at the uptown intersection. Who knows about the great Art Deco-style arch and what happened to it? Pickwick Block is seen through the arch. Was the arch only in place for Syracuse's Centennial or did it appear in other years as well? This had to be between 1937 and 1946 because that's when this particular Pickwick Block burned. This block has burned down three times during the town's history.
