The duties of a
Conservation Officer fall into three areas, law enforcement, education
and service. If there's anything we can do for you please feel free to
stop by our office. And once again we will be conducting Indiana
Boater Education Classes throughout the year. Anyone who is interested
should call our office for class dates and locations.
The department has
available to them one all-terrain vehicle, two snowmobiles and six
boats. Also, our division has two airboats available upon request. For
recovery operations the department maintains a highly trained scuba
team, which is on call twenty-four hours a day.
