The
Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum will again be conducting historical
cruises on the 65-foot, double deck S.S. Lilly Pad. While passengers
cruise the shoreline for two hours, Margaret Appenzeller will share
information about geology, geography and history of this magnificent
lake as well as provide insight about some of the individuals and
institutions that have shaped its history.
Advance reservations are required and may be made by calling
the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum at (574) 457-3599 between 1 and
5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Tickets are available with brunch
served on the air conditioned lower deck at $25 per person or without
brunch on the open upper deck (canopy covers 3/4 of it) at $15 per
person. Cash bar is available. Tickets must be paid for in advance.
The S.S. Lilly Pad will leave from the Frog Tavern, 1116
S. Harkless Drive, Syracuse, Indiana.
