EARLY WAWASEE DAYS
If you
are interested in a permanent account of life around Wawasee
seventy-five and more years ago, the Wawasee Property Owners
Association has reprinted Eli Lilly's 1960 classic Early Wawasee
Days.
It
contains annotative material and historical updates written by local
historian and former WPOA president Wiley W. (Bill) Spurgeon, Jr.
The 1993 Annotated
Edition of Early Wawasee Days is available from the
Syracuse-Wawasee Museum, located in the Syracuse Public Library, main
and Harrison Streets. Copies of the book are $25 apiece, with profit
on the sale going to the museum. The museum will also mail the book
for an additional $2 handling charge. To get the book, drop by the
